Spryfield - Colpitts Lake

We enjoy the view from the old graveyard in Spryfield, on our way towards the north end of Colpitts Lake. We find the beginning of the stream that flows out of the lake to Williams Lake. After a short distance we come upon these ice formations on the stream. We proceed to the eastern side of Colpitts Lake. On a height of land we have a view across the lake to the granite plateau. We continue along the eastern shore of the lake to the southern end.

Flat Lake - Duck Pond

Next we walk to the north end of Flat Lake. Nearby we see this combination of moss and icicles. Proceeding along the eastern shore of Flat Lake, we enjoy this view across to the western shore. Once we are at the south end of the lake we have a view northwest across the lake. We continue to Duck Pond, where we have a view of the granite ridge that lies between here and West Pine Island Pond.
